🐾 Breeding Philosophy & Experience
Samuel and Elsie Bowman have been breeding Golden Retrievers for about six years and have been working directly with puppy families since 2014. Their focus is on raising well-socialized, well-trained puppies and making sure each family feels confident and supported throughout the process.
They prioritize early handling and daily interaction. Puppies are picked up and handled every day, and once old enough, they spend time outside daily when weather allows. The Bowmans also offer optional obedience and potty training for families who are interested.
Their dogs are AKC registered and undergo genetic testing through Animal Genetics using a Golden Retriever panel. OFA testing is also part of their program, with attention given to hip and elbow health.

Samuel and Elsie live in Millersburg, Ohio, and operate their breeding program as a small, family-run operation. Their approach is hands-on and personal, with daily involvement in the care and development of their dogs and puppies.
They also have experience working with families beyond their own litters, including providing obedience and potty training services for puppies headed to their new homes.
🐶 Home Environment & Setting
The Bowmans have a dedicated setup designed for both comfort and cleanliness. Adult dogs have access to a grass yard throughout the day, and puppies are raised in a climate-controlled space that allows for close monitoring and daily interaction.
Puppies and their mothers are taken outside into the grass multiple times each day, giving them regular exposure to fresh air, new surroundings, and natural stimulation.
✨ Health Care & Puppy Preparation
Puppies receive routine veterinary care before going home, including age-appropriate vaccinations and deworming. The Bowmans follow a consistent health protocol and work with local veterinary clinics to ensure puppies are well cared for before placement.
They do not sell puppies through pet stores, brokers, or third-party resellers. Puppies are placed directly with families, allowing for clear communication and a more personal adoption experience.
