🐾 Breeding Philosophy & Experience

We’ve always been very fond of Golden Retrievers, and in 2020—just a few years after getting married—the timing finally worked out for us to bring home our first Golden, a 1-year-old female named Sally. Shortly after that, we decided to raise a litter, and we fell in love with the whole process: from the joy of seeing newborns for the first time to watching them grow and start eating puppy food, and ultimately meeting the amazing families who welcome them home. We love every part of it!

All of our puppies receive ENS (Early Neurological Stimulation) exercises from day 3 to day 16, and with four young kids in our home, the puppies are naturally well socialized from the beginning.

We begin with health-tested, OFA-certified parents. Our puppies are dewormed bi-weekly, receive their first two vaccinations, and undergo a full head-to-toe vet check around 7 weeks of age. We do everything we can to make sure your new puppy is healthy, confident, and ready for a smooth transition home.

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Family Life

We’re Dennis Jr. and JoAnn Mast, and we’ve been married since 2016. We’re now a family of six with four beautiful children. Jr. works as a licensed auctioneer and real estate agent with RE/MAX Showcase in Wooster, Ohio, and also does some kitchen and bath cabinet design work on the side.

As a family, we enjoy bike rides through the countryside, caring for our six chickens, pony rides, and spending time outdoors. Our favorite vacation destination? Definitely the beach!

🏡 Home Environment & Setting

Our puppies are raised in a clean, comfortable environment. Once they’re old enough, they get lots of playtime outside in the yard and on the swingset. We love watching them grow and explore!

✨ Puppy Care & Personal Touches

Before leaving for their new homes, each puppy is carefully bathed and brushed. We also take time to play with them and let them get their energy out before you arrive, so your ride home is as relaxing as possible.

Each puppy comes with:

  • A microchip

  • A 5-pound bag of food

  • A collar

  • A health certificate

  • Deworming and vaccination records

  • An AKC registration application

We always recommend that you take your puppy to your vet within a few days of arriving home and register their microchip right away. Most of all, give your puppy lots of love and care—it’ll make all the difference during the transition!

💛 Personality & Heart

Your Golden Retriever will win your heart with their sweet personality, but the time you invest in early training will really pay off long-term. A well-trained Golden is a joy to live with!

One of our favorite parts of being breeders is getting to know our customers. It means so much when families stay in touch and send us updates. A few of our puppies have even gone on to earn their Canine Good Citizen Awards and become therapy dogs, which is such a rewarding thing to hear!
